The 3rd Annual Team JEM 3 Ride for SIDS was a big success. Thank you everyone who came out to participate, and those who gave monetary donations. Without your generosity, we would not have raised another $5000+ for the Center for Infant and Child Loss.
The founders would like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors, and donors. We would also like to thank Harley Davidson of Maryland for allowing us to start our ride at their dealership. Thank you everyone at Daniels, a BIG thanks for enduring the heat of that grill to feed all of our participants. This ride was a huge success. We had a safe enjoyable ride courtesy of Joe Burger, ride planner and founder, as well as brothers Jack and Mike McClung, Wayne Brickhouse, Carl Willis, and Kenny Jones for leading in the last of the "lost pack". To all the riders who assisted with blocking roads while we rode our 95 mile route, thank you. It made the ride from front to back, a smooth enjoyable one.
For those of you who filled out a survey card, thank you. We received some really good suggestions for next year, although I don't think we will see Jack in a pink thong , not even for charity .....or maybe.... Stay tuned, this may be a fund raiser in the making!! If you have route suggestions, ideas for games, raffles, etc., please feel free to drop us an email. We are open to ideas to make next year's event bigger and better.
